Congratulations to Ms Mickey Mashale on being appointed team Nexio’s number one
Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the permanent appointment of Ms Mickey Mashale as the Chief Executive Officer for team Nexio with effect from 1 August 2020. Mickey who is no stranger to the Nexio family has been holding the fort as the interim acting CEO for the organisation since March this year.
During her reign as interim acting CEO for our organisation, Mickey has demonstrated a range of industry experience that has already produced positive results for the company, employees, stakeholders and its customers. Mickey will report and account to the Nexio Board and will continue on with driving the company’s digital transformation strategy to greater heights.
As previously communicated, Mickey is recognised as one of the industry’s distinguished female business thought leaders. You might also be aware that Mickey was previously the Managing Executive & Head of Region for Vodafone Global Enterprise and was responsible for strategy, revenue retention, growth and expansion of Vodafone customers, for the Southern African Region. She is a member of the IoDSA (International Institute of Directors South Africa) and is an MBA Graduate from Wits Business School. She also a graduated from the University of Natal with a Bachelor of Science and has also obtained a number of diplomas in Telecommunications & Marketing from Wits Business School; P&DM, Institute of Marketing Management, AAA School of Advertising and Varsity College.
